Autec s.r.l., The Autec corporation was founded in 1986 and is located in Vicenza in the Northeast of Italy - one of the most creative and dynamic industrial environments in Europe. Our activity is the design, production, and distribution of industrial radio remote control systems i.e. high technology safety systems for the remote control of industrial and building machinery.

In Italy Autec was the pioneer and has remained the leader in the sector of industrial radio remote control by proposing continuously improved systems designed to promote worker safety in an astounding variety of industrial applications. More than 50,000 systems sold testify to the high quality and reliability of Autec products.

Each phase of the design and production is under Autec's direct control in order to assure the highest possible standards for the final product. Our R&D department activities include theoretical analysis, simulations, and on-site tests carried out from the beginning of the project until and after delivery.

As early as February 1995 Autec was granted the certificate of quality according to the DIN EN ISO9001 norm by the TÜV Bayern (certif.no. QI95022018602).

Autec manufactures only products which meet (or in some cases even exceed) the strictest European standards. Every product and design change is submitted for testing and approval to the IQSE of the TÜV Product Service GmbH. Certification consists in the testing of the models during the development phase and also the verification that adequate quality standards have been adhered to during the entire subsequent production phase.

Some safety features of our products are as follows:

• System redundancy according to EN954-1 and DIN V 19250;
• Custom chip redundancy for the encoding of the signals with a proprietary telegram;
• Mixed technology hardware architecture (ASICs, microprocessors);
• Extremely high immunity to electromagnetic interference;
• Coupled hardware keys unequivocally identify the telegram (with guaranteed uniqueness);
• Double contact control systems (joysticks and push-buttons) into separate chambers;
• Integrated diagnosis systems.

Radio remote control systems are ideal for increasing the safety and, at the same time, the productivity in demanding work environments. For this reason their level of reliability must be very high under all conditions.
During the various design phases Autec carries out theoretical analysis and physical simulations in order to meet or even exceed required standards. Autec furthermore conducts proprietary automated function tests, thus permitting it to guarantee the electronic parts of its products for 3 years.
Every single electronic part is subjected to numerous functional and stress tests in accelerated aggressive environment chambers with temperatures varying continuously from -25° C to +80° C. These tests are carried out and monitored by computers dedicated solely to this task for a 48-hours test period.
All Autec radio remote control systems are guaranteed to reach at least the IP65 grade of protection.
